Columns in your file
Mark details
Tick one or more columns — values are merged into a single notes field per mark.
Location / coordinates
Handles separate Easting/Northing or Latitude/Longitude columns (e.g. GridMarks exports), OS grid refs, combined E/N cells, and coords in text.
Paste a grid ref, E/N pair, or coords in brackets
Updating 0 marks
Applies to the marks in scope (current filters, or all marks). Manage categories from the gear next to the category filter.
Marks with no date are skipped.
Dismiss all active pin warnings on the selected marks. Use after you've checked suspect pins — they won't show in Review filter or export warnings.
Drop file to import
Marks spreadsheet
.xlsx / .xls / .csv — opens the column mapper
History archive
AssetAssurance, WorkSummary or any export
Project file
.json backup — replaces current marks
Without one, records are dated by the month in the filename or import date.
These appear under each nearby record, e.g. Job Status, Job Notes, DP, CP. Your choices are remembered for this file layout.
Download a council area on wifi — its street map works with no signal, down to building level. Satellite still needs a connection.
Free now — download the areas you need. A future Pro plan may add storage caps or shared team libraries; nothing is limited today.
Near a council edge? Download neighbouring areas too — maps are clipped to each boundary. Maps stay on this device.
Importing marks…

Match columns in the previous step, then import places marks on the map. Large imports skip address lookup for speed — addresses fill in afterwards.
Classify marks (Inspections Due, Utility Strikes, and so on). Filters use these labels. Archive hides a category from the picker without deleting marks.
Applied when you add a pin (map, GPS, search, etc.). Import can still map a Category column from your spreadsheet.
